]]> Marianna Sisson’s “Corten Ellipse” is a sculpture made of MDF (medium density chipboard)

that is intricately cut into ovals and circles of varying sizes using CNC technology.

THE SCULPTURE received a rusted metal finish using corten powder.

This rust finish gives the piece a unique and groundbreaking look and sharpens its aesthetics .

Marianna Sisson’s artwork “Corten Ellipse” has been transformed into a functional piece of furniture.

In addition to its original MDF design with a rusty metal finish, it now incorporates mirror backs and glass shelves.

This combination of materials adds functionality to the art in the space, making it suitable for use as a collect display.

The mirror back provides a reflective surface, enhancing the visual impact of the items displayed, while the glass shelves offer a sleek,

transparent platform for displaying objects.
